Reptile�s NATURAL BEND CURVE

Over the years, after a long time testing new bend curves and materials, Reptile has developed the NATURAL BEND CURVE to fit perfectly the most of the sails in the market. It�s not the last advertising gimmick, but the amazing results of our R&D team . Most of the info must to be kept secret; the development of the NATURAL BEND CURVE has followed two different ways:
- Materials; the high modulus prepreg fibers used by our competitors( too stiff, not durable) has been replaced by a super high quality carbon fibers that have more than 30% of extra extension than the commonly used in the market. Combining those fibers with a special fiber glass produced in our chemical department we obtained a mast with an incredible bend curve range, NATURAL, not forced to bend in a specific way.
- Mandrels; the next step was to develop a special mandrel with different tapered internal diameters. Here we have the peculiar secret of our NATURAL BEND CURVE, a curve that perfectly fit in most of the sails, that allows the sail to twist as naturally and efficiently as possible.
All our RDMs, (PYTHON 60,PYTHON 80, PYTHON 100) and the SDMs (GREEN MAMBA 60 GREEN MAMBA 100) are built with the technology of the NATURAL BEND CURVE.
Moreover, to get to the slalom riders the desired bend curve, we put on the GREEN MAMBAs more technology: the NATURAL -TOP- BEND CURVE and the NATURAL -CONSTANT- BEND CURVE.
